THE
INTERVIEW
When you apply for this program, the first step is submitting your CV to our vetting and sourcing team. Along with your CV, you’ll need to provide details of your visa status and any other important documentation or information we should know. The more comprehensive and accurate your submission, the smoother and quicker the process will be for you.
TRAINING
PROGRAM
Our training program is an intensive 3-week course designed to equip you with the skills, qualifications, and confidence needed for a successful career in the construction industry. Training takes place at two locations in Kent, offering a mix of classroom theory and hands-on practical experience.
LOCATION
Rochester, Kent
Classroom-based theory sessions.
Parking is limited but public transport links are excellent.
Maidstone Kent
Hands-on training sessions. Parking available and within 15 minutes of Maidstone Station.
4-week program
You’ll gain valuable skills, complete certifications, and achieve the following:

Obtain an NVQ Level 2 qualification as a multi-skilled operative.
Learn & become proficient in various types of form work techniques
SCHEDULE
MONDAY - FRIDAY
9AM - 6PM
SATURDAY
9AM - 4PM
Develop expertise in steel fixing and drainage installation.
Pass the CSCS test and earn your CSCS card.
Achieve certification in one of the following:

Operating a Mobile Elevation Working Platform (MEWP)

Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ & Manufacturers’ Association (PASMA)
Attendance is mandatory. A 100% attendance rate is required to successfully complete the program. Failure to attend any part of the training will result in removal from the academy, and no refund will be provided.

TRIAL PLACEMENT
ON SITE
You’ll be placed on a building site project for a 6 weeks trial period. This is designed to evaluate your skills, reliability, and work ethic.

Job Role: Multi-Skilled Operative

This is a crucial position in UK construction projects, requiring hands-on physical work.
A positive attitude, motivation, and adaptability are key to succeeding in this role. You’ll collaborate with various trades on-site, performing a wide range of duties.
SKILLED WORKER
VISA PROCESS
After passing the trial period, you’ll begin the Skilled Worker Visa application process with the construction company and their legal team. This includes:

Applying for a 3-year Skilled Worker Visa.

Completing an English language test (such as IELTS) if required, based on your visa status and qualifications.

Timeline: The process typically takes 8 to 12 weeks, during which you will continue working and earning.

EMPLOYMENT
& PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT
Once your Skilled Worker Visa is approved, you’ll receive a full-time employment contract with enhanced benefits. You’ll also be enrolled in a civil engineering online university course, a significant investment in your future. Upon completing the 3-year civil engineering degree, you can expect a substantial salary increase.
